Choosing The Right Time of Day To Host Your Party

 

Before you choose the right time of day for your party, you must have a date already picked out. If you haven't picked out a date for your party, visit here first.

Party time

 

Things to take into great consideration when choosing the perfect time of day to host your party are:

- Will this party have children present? Is the party a child's party? If so, you may want to choose an earlier time of day to start and end the party. Small children tend to get cranky if the party is held too early or held too late in the day.

- What day of the week is your party falling on? If your party is on a Thursday, just remember that your guests might have to work the next day. So, you may opt to choose to end the party a little earlier.

 

Here's a quick time table to help you choose an appropriate party time:

Thursday Party held after work hours. Start time 6:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. -Serve hors d'oeuvres and have plenty of food stations for guest to munch.

Friday Times: 6:00 P.M. - as late as your budget permits.

 

-Serve hors d'oeuvres and have plenty of food stations for guest to munch.

Saturday Hosting a Day Party Suggested Times: 10:00 A.M. or 11:00 A.M.

Hosting a Mid Day Party

Times: 2:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M.

Times: 6:00 P.M. - as late as your budget permits.

 

If you're hosting a party 10-11 A.M. you will need to serve lunch in the afternoon. Lunch times can be 30-45 minutes long.
Sunday Hosting a Day Party Suggested Times: Start 11:00 A.M.

Example Evening Start Time: 5:00 P.M. or 5:30 P.M. - End 10:00 P.M.

If you're hosting a party 10-11 A.M. you will need to serve lunch in the afternoon. Lunch times can be 30-45 minutes long
