So while all the actors and actresses are strutting their stuff
on the red carpet in their sparkly gowns and dashing tuxes, you
could be doing the same thing at home with friends and family by

Guests Will Arrive In Formal Attire
While you don't necessarily have to request that your guests
wear formal attire, it is nice to have everyone dress up for the
party to go along with the whole glitz and glamour of the

Quick tip: Once your guests arrive to the party, give your female guests feather boas and you give your male guests top hats.

red runner to the entrance of the party.

As the guests arrive
to the party dressed in their formal attire, you or someone can
take snapshots of your guests as they enter
the party. If you're using a digital camera you can print the
pictures out and give your guests their red carpet snapshots as
memento.

When looking for party decor for this grand occasion you can
choose either to dress up your party, or dress it down; meaning,
if you want a more formal look select cloth table coverings and fancy plates and silverware. For a more dressed down

no wrong or right way. Just use your imagination and have fun
with it!

As a prize and a fabulous party favor you can hand out your own
golden statues. You can also create a game where your guest can list
which actor/actresses will win an Oscar. If more than one guest
guesses correctly you can place their names in a top hat and
the name that gets drawn will receive the golden statue.
